The Kentucky Commissioner of Education is seeking applicants to be considered for appointment to the Montgomery County Board of Education. You are invited to nominate yourself or someone you know who is qualified to serve on the Montgomery County Board of Education representing the Mt. Sterling 1A, Mt. The five members of the Montgomery County Board of Education are elected by the citizens of Montgomery County. Each member represents three or more of the seventeen voting precincts in the County.
Meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Montgomery County High School Cafeteria on the 4th Tuesday of each month, except November and December, which will be held on the 3rd Tuesday.
Special Sessions may be called by the Board at various times and will be advertised accordingly. Meetings are open to the public. Special session agendas are advertised prior to the meeting.
