Waivers are valid for one academic year only and must be renewed annually. A student who has an approved waiver this school year must reapply for a waiver for the 2018-19 school year by completing the form ONLINE only.
The window to request a waiver will open on Thursday, March 29, 2018. The initial review of applications will take place on Monday, April 16, 2018. We strongly encourage you to apply before April 16, 2018, as we will approve a limited number of waivers. A second review will take place after May 15, 2018.
If a waiver is approved, the parent/guardian is responsible for providing transportation to the non-home school. Among other reasons, waivers may be denied for unacceptable academic performance and may be denied or revoked for
- unacceptable behavior at either school or
- unacceptable attendance (including unacceptable late arrivals or early dismissals) at either school
