We are anticipating an exciting and successful school year for Montgomery County students and employees. The intent of this site is to provide students and their parents/guardians with the information they need to prepare to return to school, from school supply lists to registration information. The staff is working daily to complete details, so there will be frequent changes and updates to the information provided here, as it becomes available.
Thank you for being an important part of the Montgomery County School System.
STATE REQUIRED VACCINATIONS PRIOR TO ENTRY INTO SCHOOL
A current Commonwealth of Kentucky Certificate of Immunization is required for all children attending preschool and public primary and secondary school. A child with 1 Hepatitis A shot, who is up to date with all other vaccinations, will have a good immunization certificate until 6 months has passed from the date of the initial Hepatitis A shot. After 6 months, the certificate will expire because the second Hepatitis A vaccine will be due.
Students age 16 years or older, must show proof of having received two doses of Meningococcal ACWY vaccine (MenACWY).
