  • National School Breakfast Week

March 2-6 is National School Breakfast Week!  Students are encouraged to start the day off right with breakfast.  Locally, students who participate in the school breakfast program during National School Breakfast Week will be eligible for a prize drawing at their school on Friday, March 6th.  Two bicycles, a boys' and a girls', will be given away at Camargo Elementary, Mapleton Elementary, Mt. Sterling Elementary, Montgomery County Intermediate, and McNabb Middle.  I-tunes cards will be awarded at Montgomery County High School and Sterling School.  Make the Grade with School Breakfast!

By action of the Montgomery County Board of Education on February 24th, school WILL BE IN SESSION on Monday, March 30th; Tuesday, March 31st; and Wednesday, April 1st. At this time, school is scheduled to be closed on Thursday, April 2nd and Friday, April 3rd. The change was made due to missing 10 days of school, thus far, for inclement weather. The plan to use Spring Break for make-up days was announced by the School Board last year when the school calendar was approved. The Board has indicated that additional consideration will be given regarding the remaining two days if more inclement weather days are missed.

  • Chromebooks and Digital Information

Montgomery County Schools are getting ready for the deployment of Chromebooks for grades 5-12. We are so excited to provide this instructional tool for students and teachers. The deployment will occur during the second semester of this school year. To prepare for that deployment the district would like to provide parents with information. We have listed links below to provide good information not only for having a Chromebook at home, but for any digital device.
