Seth Patterson Earns 4-Year NRTOC Scholarship

Cadet Battalion Commander Seth Patterson was awarded and signed a four-year Naval ROTC scholarship with the Marine Corp option to attend Virginia Military Institute (VMI).  This scholarship is worth in excess of $180,000 and will pay for his four years of college.  After graduating from VMI he will become a Marine Corp Officer.

This scholarship is one of the most competitive scholarships to be awarded to prospective ROTC students.  In previous years there were over 3,500 applicants and only 363 were awarded across the country.  This puts Cadet Patterson among the most highly sought after Cadets in the country.

We are so excited for him to continue his education and further grow as a future leader!
