EXTENDED SCHOOL SERVICES PROVIDES ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONAL TIME TO HELP ALL CHILDREN LEARN AT HIGH LEVELS.
Extended School Services (ESS) Program provides extended instructional time for ALL students who need more time to meet the academic goals for their grade level in school. Students who are having short term problems may also participate in ESS, even students performing at high levels may have problems in school and need additional instructional time.
Common services students receive at ESS include tutoring, small group instruction, homework assistance, and study skills instruction.
If students are referred to ESS by classroom teachers, other school staff, parents, or by the student all they have to do is attend ESS and we wil fill out the paperwork.
After attending five ESS sessions the student will receive a certificate to allow him or her to drop the lowest grade in one of their classes. They are NOT allowed to drop a test grade or project grade.
