About Me:

Hello, my name is Kaitlin Richardson.  I have a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in finance from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Arts in Teaching in middle grades education (math and science) from Eastern Kentucky University.  This is my 7th year teaching 8th grade science at McNabb.  I love McNabb and am very excited to be here!  This year I will be teaching on the virtual team.  I love science!  We are going to have a wonderful year!

My husband, Nathan, and I are expecting our third child October 30th.  We are having a boy!  We have a daughter (Alice, 4.5 years old) and a son (Connor, 3 years old).  We live in Winchester with our dog, Sophie.

All grades will be weighted as follows: 

Formative:   50%-  homework, classwork, quizzes, interactive notebooks, etc.

Summative: 50% -unit exams, major projects, developed writing pieces, etc.
