My name is Karis Patterson. I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2012 with a Bachelors degree in Education and in 2013 with a Masters degree in Education. I am beginning my tenth year teaching in the state of Kentucky, and my ninth year at McNabb Middle School. This year I am teaching sixth grade English Language Arts, but I have also taught eighth grade ELA, Journalism, as well as eleventh and twelfth grade English and high school Drama in the past. I am also the head Academic Team coach at McNabb, and I have been involved with that organization in some capacity for the past nine years.

I am VERY proud to be a member of the MOCO tribe.
