Welcome to J.B. McNabb Middle School my name is Sean Evans and I teach 6th grade social studies.  I am also the Chess Coach for J.B. Mcnabb and assistant coach to the High School.  This is my seventh year teaching at J.B. Mcnabb and I want to welcome all of my new students.  I look forward to getting to know everyone throughout the school year.  I graduated from Morehead State University in 2012.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in the Art of Teaching Middle Grades 5-9 with Math and Social Studies as component areas.  

    I was born in Lexington, KY. and have lived in Carter County for most of my life.  I have recently moved to Montgomery County because of how welcoming the community at McNabb has been while I've worked.  I am married with three children.  My hobbies include chess, poetry, and watching live theater performances.  My goal for every student is to make sure they are prepared to go to the 7th, 8th grade and beyond.  Please feel free to contact me at any time via email or phone, that information can be found under the syllabus link.
