Mrs. Grashel is a native of Montgomery County and spent 9 years as a member of the Montgomery County Orchestra Program. She graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education in 2016. She has been playing the viola for 18 years and also loves to play the violin, guitar, and mandolin in her free time. She is an active member of the Kentucky Music Educators Association, the National Association for Music Educators, and the String Excellence performing group in Lexington. She currently lives in Winchester with her husband, her dog, and her cat.
