Welcome 7th Grade Students and Parents!!

I was born and raised in Clark County, and I graduated from Morehead State in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications and minor in Philosophy. I began my professional career working in sales for two and a half years before realizing that I was truly passionate about kids, helping others, and, of course, science. I am currently enrolled in courses to obtain a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of the Cumberlands.

I am married to Mr. Gelefson, and we will celebrate our third anniversary on Sept. 21st. My husband is from Sweden, and we love to travel together. We have a baby boy named Leo and two Siberian Forest cats named Benedict and Torben.

I'm so excited to spend another year here at McNabb Middle! I am determined to become the educator that inspires each kid to leave the classroom feeling energized and excited about STEM. The fastest and most effective way to change the future is to impact and encourage the children of today. So, I hope you're ready to learn!
