I have lived in Montgomery County most of my life. I actually went to Camargo Elementary, so this school is very dear to my heart. I have been married for 31 years and have two wonderful adult children. My son is getting married in the spring and my daughter is in her last years of medical school. I have aged a little bit since the above picture was taken but it makes me feel good.
I have been teaching for 18 years and 13 of those years have been here at Camargo. I have taught preschool, kindergarten, second grade and fifth grade. This is my second year of teaching 5th grade and I absolutely love it. I love the relationships and friendships that form with my students. I love that they have a sense of humor and they get mine. I love it when that light comes on in their eyes when they really understand or learn something that didn't know. This year I will be a virtual teacher for 5th grade. Even though we will not be in person, I still hope to form these relationships with my students.
