About Our School and Leader

"FOR THESE ARE ALL OUR CHILDREN, AND WE SHALL ALL PROFIT BY, OR PAY FOR, WHAT THEY BECOME"
-James Baldwin

School Mission
The Sterling School exists to engage, motivate and challenge students as they realize and demonstrate their potential in academics, by becoming productive members of society.
What We Believe...
Young people need five real basics:
  • A one on one relationship with caring adults;
  • A safe place to learn and grow;
  • Academic rigor and high expectations for all students;
  • A marketable skill to use upon graduation;
  • A chance to give back to peers and community.
