Classroom Rules

My classroom fuctions on our Camargo Three Expectations: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe. As a class at the beginning of each school year, we discuss our classroom rules and create our classroom rules together. We have five main rules:

1.) Follow directions quickly.

2.) Raise your hand to speak.

3.) Raise your hand to leave your spot.

4.) Make smart choices.

5.) Keep your teacher happy.

Students exhibit respect through each of these rules by using active listening skills, being quiet when needed, completing their work, and helping others. We focus on listening ears, quiet mouth, kind words, safe hands/feet, and watching eyes. Our classroom community depends on listening to Mrs. Wilson and learning from each other. We are a whole brain classroom so we frequently teach in chunks and give opportunities for students to reteach to their peers. For more information on whole brain teaching rules, visit
