Welcome to Montgomery County Schools!

We're honored to be part of your child's educational journey. Whether you're enrolling a student for the very first time or returning for another school year, we've gathered everything you need to make the process simple and stress-free. This page includes enrollment requirements, attendance zone information, important dates, required documentation, and contact information to help your family get off to a great start.

  • Are you new to the district? Families can conveniently register their student online through Infinite Campus using the following link:

    Online Enrollment Portal

    Schedule an appointment once the online application is complete.

  • Kindergarten: Child must be 5 years old by August 1 of the enrollment year.

    Students with Disabilities: Eligible for services beginning at age 3.

  • For Families with Students Already in Montgomery County Schools
    If you already have a student enrolled in Montgomery County Schools, you can register additional children by:

    Logging into Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

    • Click "Add a new student" in the menu.

    Don’t have an account or forgot your password? Contact your child’s school for a reset.

  • If you prefer to enroll your child in person, visit your child’s school during school hours, Monday–Friday, with a parent or guardian present.

  • If your child is returning to Montgomery County Schools, you do not need to complete a new student registration.

    Instead, log in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal and complete the Annual Update for each returning student. During the Annual Update, you'll review and confirm important information, including:

    • Parent/guardian contact information
    • Emergency contacts
    • Address and household information
    • Parent acknowledgments/confirmations

    Completing the Annual Update before the start of the school year helps ensure your child's records are accurate and allows schools to prepare for a successful first day.

  • Verification Requirements

    When registering your child for the first time in a Montgomery County public school, you must provide the following documents. You will provide these documents to your child's school.

    • Birth Certificate
    • Proof of Identity (parent/guardian driver’s license)
    • Proof of Residence (utility bill, lease, or mortgage statement)
    • Up-to-date Immunization Records
    • Medical Examination
    • Dental Exam
    • Eye Exam
    • Social Security Card* (not required however requested for grant/scholarship opportunities)
