The Montgomery County School District is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide walk-through items screening systems for deployment across district facilities. The purpose of this RFP is to identify and procure advanced security screening systems that offer superior threat detection capabilities and operational flexibility, with a strong emphasis on student safety, privacy, and system mobility. We are interested in systems utilizing AI, X-ray and advanced radar sensors that can detect and deter ferrous, non-ferrous, and non-metallic concealed weapons, threats, baggage screening, and other items.

An RFP has been published and is available online at www.montgomery.kyschools.us, by contacting Dr. Rick Culross at richard.culross@montgomery.kyschools.us, or by calling 859-497-8760.

The RFP package to include bids will be due to Dr. Rick Culross, Deputy Superintendent,  Montgomery County Schools Board of Education, 3400 Indian Mound Drive, Mt. Sterling, KY, on or before 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2025. Any bid received after the scheduled time will be rejected.
